Close your hand over one screen and open it over another. Pages, videos, photos and files move between your phones, iPhone, Windows PC and Mac — in any direction, to any device in your group.
Free. No account, no cloud — your devices talk over your own Wi-Fi.
A YouTube video — it carries on from the same second on the laptop.
The effect
The screen pulls in, sparks gather into a glowing orb and it lifts away. Catching plays it backwards. The same on every device.
What it grabs
OrbGrab looks at the app in front and takes the useful thing — the link, the file, the moment in the video. A picture of the screen only when there's nothing better.

Grab it on your phone or Mac; it carries on from where you were on the other screen.

The original file at full quality, not a screenshot — from the Android gallery or the iPhone's library. Computers open it full screen.

One group, every device
Your devices form one group. Any of them can send, any of them can catch — two phones, a phone and an iPhone, a Mac and a Windows PC.
| From ↓ To → | Android | iPhone | Windows | Mac |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Android | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| iPhone | ✓ | — | ✓ | ✓ |
| Windows | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| Mac | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
Every pair works, two of the same kind too — except iPhone to iPhone: an iPhone connects to your Android, Windows and Mac devices.
How it works
Any mix of Android phones, iPhone, Windows PCs and Macs. Keep them on the same Wi-Fi.
Open OrbGrab on one device and tap Pair device → Scan on another. From then on every device in the group finds the others.
✋ → ✊ in front of one device sends. An open hand ✋ in front of another catches — on a computer, ✊ → ✋. The phone vibrates once when something arrives.
Each device
| Device | Grabs | Catch with | Over other apps | Needs |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Android | Browser page, YouTube at the same second, Instagram, gallery photo or video, screenshot | Open hand | Yes, with Background mode | Android 10+, front camera |
| iPhone | Copied link or text, photo or video, file | Open hand | Only while OrbGrab is open | iOS 16+ |
| Windows | Browser page, selected files, screenshot | Fist → open hand | Yes, from the tray | Windows 10/11, webcam |
| Mac | Browser tab (YouTube at the same second), selected files, open document, screenshot | Fist → open hand | Yes, from the menu bar | macOS 14+, camera |
No server. No account. No ads.OrbGrab is a direct line between your own devices. There's nothing in the middle to sign in to, and nothing that could keep a copy.

Questions
Yes. Pair as many phones and computers as you like into one group — each one only scans a QR code once. Anything you grab is offered to all of them, and the device where you open your hand first gets it.
No. OrbGrab checks a few frames a second for the shape of an open hand or a fist, on the device itself, and throws each frame away. It never saves or sends video, and on the phone it stops while the screen is off or locked.
While no hand is in view it looks 5 times a second, and only once a second when nothing in front of the camera moves. The hand model runs at low priority, so the app you're using always comes first. Turn Background mode off whenever you like.
They need to be on the same Wi-Fi (a phone's hotspot works too). Nothing goes through the internet or any server; a link you send simply opens on the other device.
It goes straight from one of your devices to another over your Wi-Fi, and only devices that scanned your group's QR code are let in — each one proves it before anything is exchanged. On the way it is protected by your Wi-Fi's own encryption, so use a network you trust.
Not directly. An iPhone sends to and catches from your Android phones, Windows PCs and Macs, and only while OrbGrab is open — Apple doesn't let apps use the camera in the background or read other apps' screens.
HyperOS closes apps to save memory. OrbGrab's setup walks you through Autostart, Battery saver → No restrictions and locking OrbGrab in Recent apps. With those on it keeps running, and if it's closed anyway it comes back by itself.
So that ✋ → ✊ over another app can take the link from your browser or press that app's own Share button. OrbGrab uses it only at the moment you grab, and shows you exactly what it does before you switch it on.
